Early career

Teresa began her career as an organization and management systems consultant in 1993, a role she held for a decade.

For more than 15 years, she has worked as a coach, collaborating with business schools, public bodies, companies and private executive clients.

She is the founder of WinWhatIsNext, a project through which she supports professionals who want to develop, improve their performance, progress in their careers and protect their quality of life, as well as companies that believe in the active role of talent in its own development.

Teresa van Oorschot’s professional background combines experience in consulting, organizational development, management systems and executive coaching. This perspective enables her to support professionals, teams and organizations with a broad understanding of the business context, human dynamics and the challenges that arise in highly demanding environments.

Since 2010, she has worked as a coach, collaborating with business schools, public bodies, companies, consulting firms and private clients. At IESE Business School, her work has included executive education programmes, one-to-one processes with executives, team coaching, career advising, mentoring and team facilitation, particularly through the Coaching Unit, the Learning Innovation Unit and the Alumni Association.

Throughout her career, she has supported professionals and organizations through periods of change, professional development, transition, decision-making, leadership improvement, team coordination and the review of internal dynamics. Her experience with leadership roles, multicultural teams and organizations across different sectors enables her to work with complex realities without applying pre-set solutions.

In addition to her collaboration with business schools, Teresa has worked with international bodies such as the European Union, in collaboration with EASME (The Executive Agency for SMEs) and EIC (European Innovation Council), as well as with multinational companies, SMEs, start-ups and specialist consultancies. Always guided by the same conviction: professional and organizational development begins with people’s ability to think more clearly, relate more effectively and take greater ownership of the role they play in what they want to build.

Her education combines a technical foundation in engineering, management experience and specialization in coaching. This combination enables her to work effectively in complex professional contexts, understanding both organizational logic and the human dimension that underpins any development process.

Over the course of her career, she has completed programs in executive development, leadership, values-based development and coaching as well as specific certifications that have strengthened her professional practice as a coach. This training continues to expand with new approaches and learning related to executive coaching, team coaching and working with organizations.
